Now after a public outcry and a six month stakeholders process the WA State Parks Commission has voted unanimously to request $6,200,000 in funds through grants and a 2017 Capitol Budget request to repair the trail.  And 42 Washington cities have passed resolutions asking the legislature to fund trail repairs!

The Iron Horse Park / John Wayne Trail is Washington's only cross state trail. It stretches from North Bend to Tekoa on the Idaho border. It is a 285 mile long, 100 foot wide ribbon of beauty extending through rich full forests, dramatic scab lands and the vibrant pastures of the Palouse. Each step offers peace, tranquility and gracious vistas.

Please help us appeal to the entire state legislature, Sign our petition to Save Washington's only cross state trail!
